This section contains important information about the terms and conditions of the Hunting Contract between the Owner and the Client. We advise that you, the Client, read this information thoroughly and become familiar with our procedures before signing the Hunting Contract.
Prices: All prices are quoted in United States dollars (USD). Prices are subject to change when/if currency fluctuation occurs. All prices are inclusive of the New Zealand Government, Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 15%.
Included: Included in the daily rate are the following: all accommodation, all meals and a limited range of beverages, necessary transport and transfers to and from Queenstown Airport, guide services, use of firearms and the field preparations of any trophies.
Not Included: Not included in the Owner packages are: expediting and taxidermy costs, firearms license and import permit cost (NZ $25 approx), special or private transfers, airline tickets, sightseeing activities, personal items, telephone calls, insurance, passport and visa expenses and excess baggage charges.
Payment: The Owner accepts the following: Cash, Certified Bank Cheques and Bank Transfers. Note: Personal cheques will only be accepted for deposits.
Securing A Booking: To secure a booking, a non- refundable deposit of $2,500 (USD) is required upon signing of the Hunting Contract. Due to the high cost of some particular game animals, a larger deposit may be required. In these circumstances, deposits will be personally arranged with the Client.
Balance due: The remaining balance of the total cost is due at completion of the hunt.
Romalpa Clause: Any trophies supplied by the Owner remain the property of the Owner until such time as all monies owed to the Owner (including expediting costs) are paid in full. The Owner will export the trophies to the taxidermist or his or her agent of the Client’s choice upon full and final payment.
Insurance: The Owner recommends that you have insurance to cover every eventuality, including hunt cancellation and travel insurance. The Owner does not carry any insurance that insures you and your property. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to another date or year with the agreement of both parties.
Liability: The Owner will not be liable for any loss, injury, damages or delay suffered by the Client for any reason and the client indemnifies the Owner against all claims, actions and matters in respect of such loss, injury, damages or delay.
The Owner will have no responsibility to you as client for any delay or failure in performance of any of its obligations under this Hunting Contract where the failure is occasioned by unavoidable and significant weather conditions or other events beyond our control, including but not limited to strikes, lockouts, labor disturbances, Government or local Authority intervention, discontinuance of power supply or civil commotion.
Online Payment: For online payments made on this website, a processing fee of 2.9% will be applicable.
