We provide a convenient service for transporting trophies to taxidermists. We have experienced guides who can field-dress your trophies and transport them to NZ Taxidermy Limited for processing. You will then have the option of having them mounted in New Zealand or having them delivered to a taxidermist of your choice in your home country.

Once trophies are in the expert hands of NZ Taxidermy, all communication between you and NZ Taxidermy will be conducted completely through them, unless there is something we can do to assist. In preparation for the export from New Zealand, their staff will prepare and provide the necessary papers. In order to import trophies legally, you should consult a broker or customs agent in the nation in which you now reside. If you need help locating a customs broker, NZ Taxidermy is here to help. The cost of taxidermy does not include things like import duties and taxes. You are responsible for paying all fees associated with customs clearance, handling, and domestic delivery within your country of residence. The size of the crate has an impact on the shipping expenses.

In order to finish the process, NZ Taxidermy requires your full name, passport details, email address, phone number, and address.

NZ Taxidermy Limited and Leithen Valley Hunts Limited require full payment before allowing any trophies to leave New Zealand.

Daniel Van Biljon, a skilled taxidermist, laid the groundwork for what is now known as NZ Taxidermy Limited in the early months of 2019. He owns and operates the company entirely within New Zealand. Before starting NZ Taxidermy, Dan had already spent more than ten years working in the sector. Since then, he has established himself as a leader in the hunting and taxidermy sector in New Zealand thanks to the superior craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail that he displays. He is well-known for the lifelike mounts and environments that he creates.

Because the quality of the taxidermy work reflects on the quality of your hunt with us, we take great care in selecting the taxidermist who will do the work. The mount you choose should be both a tangible reminder of your time spent hunting in New Zealand and a beautiful addition to your house.
