Wapiti Hunting in New Zealand
The WAPITI (Cervuscanadensis) is one of the world’s largest species of the deer family. In 1905, a successful liberation took place in the southwest corner of the South Island where the North American Wapati adapted readily to their new environment.
Client's Testimonial
Richard Gorczyca“My time in NZ hunting with Leithen Valley with my 2 kids was a hunt of a lifetime. 2014 will be a year to remember. My kids and I experienced a memorable time with Rach and Ollie. Top shelf outfitter and a staff that go above and beyond to make this hunt perfect. Their website displays how it actually looks there, and the FAQ were extremely accurate. This was a hunt that spoiled me with hospitality. We took 11 animals including Red Stag, Arapawa Sheep, and Fallow Deer. I would highly recommend this destination for a hunt of lifetime!”
